FAQ
Questions people ask first
What happens at the first visit?
A conversation, an exam and a plan. We listen first, check your head and upper neck, and tell you what we found. Imaging happens only when it is medically necessary.
Is it safe, and what are the risks?
Every kind of care has risks. Neck adjustments carry rare serious risks, which your doctor explains before any adjustment. If you have a sudden severe headache or neck pain, call 911 or see a physician first.
Will it hurt?
Many people feel light pressure, and some feel tired or sore afterward. Tell us what you feel, and we stop whenever you ask.
How many visits will I need?
The exam decides. Your doctor sets a plan afterward and changes it at each re-check. We do not promise a number of visits.
Do you take my insurance?
Some health plans pay for part of chiropractic care and some do not. Medicare covers only spinal manipulation. Our fees page explains how we handle each.
What if I do not use insurance?
We tell you the cost of each part of care before it begins, in writing. You also have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. Ask us.
Do I need x-rays?
Only when it is medically necessary. Most visits need none, and your doctor tells you why if one is suggested.
Can I bring my child, or come while pregnant?
Our care is for adults. If you are pregnant, tell us when you call, and we ask you to check with your obstetrician or midwife first. For a child, please ask your pediatrician.
What if I have seen another provider?
That is welcome. Bring your records if you have them, and we do not ask you to stop care from your physician or any other provider.
What is the cancellation policy?
Please call us as early as you can if you need to change a visit. Ask the front desk about our cancellation policy.
Still have a question?
Call the front desk or send a message. We answer plainly.
