Upper cervical chiropractic
Axis Chiropractic is a two-person practice on Bardstown Road. We measure first, adjust only when the exam calls for it, and check again before we do anything more.

A visit, in order
Each step has a place on the neck. Your doctor goes down the list with you, and you can stop at any step.

We start by listening. You tell us what you want from care and what you want us to know.
We look at how your head sits and move through a few simple checks, seated, with light touch.
Most visits need none. If your doctor wants an image, you hear why before it is taken.
A light, specific contact, once. Rare serious risks come with any neck care, and the doctor explains them first.
We measure again and compare. Then we decide together whether to wait, adjust or refer you.
Scope
Upper cervical care is a way of examining and adjusting the top of the neck. It has limits, and we say them first.
The doctor explains the rare serious risks of neck care before any neck adjustment, and you can say no at any step.
We do not promise a result, or a number of visits.
We do not say this method treats or cures a disease.
We do not say it is better than other chiropractic care or your physician's care.
We do not take x-rays of every patient, only when medically necessary.
We do not ask you to stop care from another provider.

Care at Axis
Each page says what the visit includes, what we do not claim and when to see a physician first.
The first look, before anything is done.
Only when your doctor can say why.
A light, specific contact, only when the exam calls for it.
Measure again, compare, decide.
How you sit, sleep and move, in plain steps.
Who you will see
A small practice: the doctor who examines you is the doctor who adjusts you.

Dr. Baek examines and adjusts at Axis. He explains each step before he takes it.
Patient coordinator
Jalen answers the phone, schedules visits and goes over fees and receipts with you at the front desk.
Before you book
A conversation, an exam and a plan. Imaging happens only when it is medically necessary, and we tell you what each part costs before it happens.
Every kind of care has risks. Neck adjustments carry rare serious risks, which your doctor explains before any adjustment. See a physician first if you have the warning signs on our care pages.
The exam decides. Your doctor sets a plan afterward and changes it as we re-check. We do not promise a number.
Some plans pay for part of chiropractic care and some do not. Our fees page says how we handle both.
